Rachel Dacus
cover of Rache's CD, "A God You Can Dance"
Rachel
Dacus is a careful craftsperson and wordsmith, a widely published
poet who has two books
and a CD
in circulation as well as many poems in magazines. She frequently
reads in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Rachel has often been able to express,
for me, the particular dance of Love that we call Meher Baba, in ways
that bring it alive as though the Master is present. Her poetic subject
matter ranges widely from such explicitly spiritual pieces to explorations
of childhood memories and evocations of significant "every day"
moments.
