Earth's an asphalt Eden— 
New Life in every leaf!
Awakening's burst democratically
'Round the cracked red tenements
And stylish porticoes.

Meditate under this Amphitheater's
Vast, blue, white-flecked dome,
The air's conditioned
Perfectly this month.

Delight with no distraction 
In the wonders I bring forth
Rabbit-from-a-hat,
Green Life from nothingness!
 
My lavish garland, 
Creation, cavorts,
Blossoming colors' 
Endless profusion 
While magnolia virgins 
In white gowns
Line streets
Hands clasped 
In prayer.
